Leadership is personal for Hubert. He became a supervisor at age 20 and experienced the challenge of moving from technician to leader. Today, he brings decades of leadership and training experience to Next Step Leadership, helping people connect development with the responsibilities they face every day.
Hubert retired from the U.S. Air Force after 24 years of service as a senior noncommissioned officer, among the top 3% of the enlisted force. His greatest leadership challenge was serving as the senior enlisted leader of a 350-person organization during wartime at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan.
After military retirement, Hubert brought his experience and education into corporate training in healthcare, transportation, manufacturing, logistics, and government. Formally trained as an instructor in 1996, he later supervised 11 instructors in a technical training program. He has also taught college courses and presented at numerous conferences.
Hubert holds a BS in Psychology and Management, an MBA, and the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification through HRCI. He also completed doctoral coursework in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
Hubert comes to your workplace to meet you where you lead, bringing development into the setting where you put it into practice. He enjoys engaging people in the classroom, the boardroom, and on stage, and also offers virtual sessions. As an LMI franchise, Next Step Leadership combines established personal development and leadership programs with personalized facilitation. Let’s discuss the approach and format that fit your needs.
